Johnny has more than 16 years of experience in our shipping and unloading crew. Now, a replacement supervisor, he still drives the forklift and also trains other employees.

Training

He studied mechanics at GTI Duffel.

The job

Johnny: "I get around quite a lot during my working day. Driving a forklift truck around the factory is very cool, but it also involves a lot of challenges. The moment you get into your forklift, you must keep your focus – all the time. You need to drive safely and understand the different types of material you load on the forklift. I also provide training and teach new colleagues how to drive the forklift."

Johnny: "I’m chairman of a dog school where I also teach puppy classes."
